NAHMA HUD Update: HUD Issues Memorandum on Allocation of CARES Act Funding for Service Coordination and Congregate Housing Services

Dear NAHMA Members,

The Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of Multifamily Housing has just published a memorandum regarding the allocation of $10 million, provided by the CARES Act, for service coordination and renewal of congregate housing services grants. This memorandum includes steps HUD is undertaking to provide supplemental appropriations to approximately 1,600 properties with grants previously awarded through the NOFA process under the Service Coordinators in Multifamily Housing program and the Congregate Housing Services Program.
