Today, we have officially launched the AHMA “World Cup” Advocacy Challenge! We hope you will join us for a little friendly competition to elevate the importance of affordable housing across the country. The challenge runs from today through September 3rd while many lawmakers are in their home districts during the August Congressional Recess.

Earn points for your AHMAs by planning one of the following activities:

  • Post on Social Media
  • Attend a town hall or political event
  • Meet with a lawmaker or their staff
  • Plan a resident engagement activity (letter writing campaign, etc.)
  • Host a property visit with lawmakers or staff

Don’t forget to send us pictures of your activities, and for social media, remember to tag your AHMAs and use the challenge hashtags #ScoreMoreHousing #NAHMA18 to earn points. Participants submit a simple formonline or via email to let us know what activities you completed (please submit by September 30). The winners will be announced during the NAHMA October Meeting!
