NAHMA HUD Update: Renewal Round for MF Service Coordinators and Congregate Housing Services Program Opens Tomorrow in Grant Solutions

Please find below an announcement from the Office of Multifamily Housing regarding the start of the application period for Calendar Year 2022 Service Coordinator in Multifamily Housing Program and Congregate Housing Services Program renewals. The application period begins tomorrow, Thursday, December 23, 2021.

Renewal Round Opening in GrantSolutions Tomorrow

Service Coordinator & Congregate Housing Grantees:

We are excited to announce that the application period for Calendar Year (CY) 2022 Service Coordinator in Multifamily Housing Program and Congregate Housing Services Program renewals will open in GrantSolutions tomorrow, Thursday, December 23, 2021.

Grantees will have 45 calendar days to submit the required documentation in GrantSolutions in accordance with the CY 2022 Annual Renewal Guidance.  The application period will close on Monday, February 7, 2022.


Grantees with Active GrantSolutions Awards

All grantees with awards that were previously processed in GrantSolutions are eligible to apply for renewals by submitting a HUD-91186-A Form, Multifamily Housing Service Coordinator’s One-Year Budget. A 5.9 percent COLA has been made available for CY 2022. The annual increase must be applied to the salary, fringe benefits, quality assurance and/or indirect cost, if applicable, budget-line items on the HUD 91186-A.

To be considered for renewal funding, grantees must continue to satisfy the program eligibility requirements.

Grantees with New Ownership

Grantees with new ownership during the last calendar year must follow the full renewal process and as described in CY 2022 Annual Renewal Guidance.

All grantees must comply with the submission requirements in the CY 2022 Annual Renewal Guidance.
