Join us 12 noon- 1:00 pm on March 12 for the next Member Virtual Connections. The topic for this session is Evictions Best Practices with guest commentator Mack Mayo of Paine Hamblen. The purpose of these Zoom conversations is not to provide training or legal advice but to virtually connect you with peers to discuss affordable housing management issues. Mack Mayo will start with a general overview, followed by an open discussion. Mack will also be presenting several sessions at the Annual Convention, making this a great opportunity to get to know him before the event. Mack Mayo is a Shareholder and Chair of the Housing Law and Landlord-Tenant Practice Group at Paine Hamblen P.S. in Spokane, Washington. He represents businesses in the real estate sector, including landlords, non-profits, housing authorities, brokerages, and property management firms. Mack manages large-scale eviction portfolios, defends Fair Housing Act claims, and has extensive class action litigation experience, having served as class counsel in over a dozen cases. He also worked with the Washington State Innocence Project to free three wrongfully convicted men. Mack enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and two labs.
